Progress!!!

Uh oh!!! This week we have found out that our visual ict project does in actuality have a theme which is sense of place. At first I was a little annoyed as I had made a start on my project which was going to involve media. But somehow I dont think it will fit nicely into place with the theme. 

After a little reassurance off Sue (who is lovely and rather eccentric) I feel a little better has the theme can be as literal or abstract as you like. Instead of focusing on the end product I am going to go with the motion and see where I end up after I have done my research!! During our lesson with Sue, she asked us to write down where we feel most happiest. For me, this was very easy but quite hard to put into words. Essentially, I feel most happiest when Im surrounded by my friends and family. Not necessarily doing anything but enjoying their company and laughing. Its evident that my sense of place is a feeling rather than a actual place. This has given me the stepping stone to starting the ball rolling (as you say) for my project. 

I love people, interaction, words, fun, memories, pictures etc so I am definitely going down that avenue with my project, I shall keep you updated on my progress. 

This week I have also completely changed my idea for my educational toy, before I was going to make an activities book but I really wasnt enjoying the making of it so with a little help with one obsessed Disney fan and myself I have decided to make Disney themed alphabet blocks. Ive started making them already and they look amazing, I just need to double check with Caroline if they are suitable for the project.
